APRON TALES
Delicious recipes served with a side of history.

It seems somewhat daunting to write a brief biography of myself, as there are now more years representing the part of my life I consider former, than there are years challenging and invigorating me in the new sunshine era of my life.

To cover the best of my yesteryears, with their various experiences and interests, I will be brief. The following may sound like ingredients for a favorite family stew. Give them all a generous stir and you will find they mix into a life well lived!

  • Finances - large corporation.
  • Radio Program Director.
  • Tour Coordinator, predeparture and post travel reunions - most memorable to the satellite countries of the Soviet Union shortly before the freedom break of the East Berlin Wall.
  • Organized New Hampshire representation to attend a New England Conference honoring Mother Teresa of Calcutta, India, held at McGuirk Stadium at the University of Massachusetts.
  • Edited and mailed state wide organization newsletter.
  • Taught ceramics specializing in ethnic designs.
  • Photography portrait enhancement.

A Very Proud Moment:

I received “The Best Friend Award” sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Hampshire in conjunction with the New Hampshire Federation of Active and Retired Federal Workers, affiliated with the national association.

Personal Interests:

  • Cooking up smiles with food, from challenging recipes to easy, treasured family recipes.
  • The History of Foods: the civilization of the table.
  • International Breads.
  • Interior design publications.
  • Various art medias.
